    Healthy Strawberry Smoothie

    Healthy Strawberry Smoothie

It’s that time of the year that in any grocery store you go, you stumble upon big, red, juicy strawberries. Now I don’t know about you, but I can’t say ‘No‘ to them. They’re sweet, refreshing and smell delicious. The only little thing (I don’t want to call it a problem) is what to do with them? Because to be honest, in 90% of the times I buy strawberries I only eat half of them while the rest remain in the fridge until spoiled. And No I don’t want to cook them into something sweet like cheesecake for example. I prefer eating fruits in a healthy, sugar-free way.

So I started adding them as a topping, along with honey on my Greek yogurt (you definitely HAVE TO TRY this). And that’s when the idea of making this Healthy Strawberry Smoothie hit me. I mean why not turn this amazing flavor combo (Greek yogurt-strawberries-honey) into a refreshing smoothie?

You know what I love best about this Healthy Strawberry Smoothie With Greek Yogurt? Well other than its delicious flavor, it satisfies your cravings for something sweet in the healthiest way possible. It’s sweet enough because of the honey (and the strawberries – the ripest the better). And it’s also very fulfilling. I’m telling you, it has become my new obsession and make it almost every afternoon instead of coffee (especially now with this heat).

IDEAS ON HOW TO SERVE THIS HEALTHY STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE

You can also enjoy it as a breakfast smoothie. It contains a good amount of protein and will give you a good energy kick because of the honey. As an energy drink before or after gym. You can even serve it at a kids party as a healthier drink (hopefully they’ll be too full to dig into a lot of the unhealthy stuff). The bottom line is no matter how you decide to enjoy it this darling will have you hooked!
